Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust was set up by the government as an incentive to reduce carbon emissions by offering businesses 0% loans for replacing old, inefficient machinery for modern energy saving equipment.

If you have any air conditioning or heating equipment that is 10 years old or more, you may be eligible for a 0% loan to upgrade this equipment. This willsave you money on your bills and help reduce your carbon footprint.

For Example -

If you use a 40kW Mitsubishi Electric VRF which is approximately 10 years old, we estimate the cost will be around £10.96 per day for energy with 45Kg of CO2 emitted. If the unit is replaced with an up to date system, we estimate the energy cost to be £4.73 per day to run with 19.5kg of CO2 emitted. We estimate the new system will make an annual saving of around£1670 on energy costs. This makes a 57% saving on both costs and CO2 emissions.

Climatize UK, working with the Carbon Trust can set up a 0% loan to replace old equipment. We aim to work the repayments around the savings made on energy costs, therefore you wont notice any additional spend. Once the loan is repaid you will notice a significant reduction in your energy costs.

Eligibility -

The Carbon Trust scheme is aimed towards SME's with the criteria to be -

• Private Sector
• Trading for at least 12 months
• Based in UK
• Fewer than 250 full time or equivalent employees
• An annual turnover of less than €50m (approximately £43m)
